AI Object Classification for Accurate Searches
Bookmarking of Key Events
The bookmarking feature allows users to mark specific segments of footage for easy retrieval. This is essential in streamlining the review process, especially during extensive investigations, ensuring that key moments are readily accessible.
Advanced Smart Search Tools
Snap Search: This tool simplifies the process of finding a specific moment in video footage. It’s particularly useful in quickly navigating through extensive video data to locate a point of interest.
Motion Search: This feature enhances the capability to search for incidents based on movements within a defined area. It’s crucial for pinpointing events in high-activity zones or for detecting unauthorized movements.
Activity Trails: Activity trails provide a visual representation of movement paths over time. This feature is instrumental in understanding the sequence of events or tracking movement patterns, aiding in both proactive surveillance and post-incident analysis.
Face redaction
We prioritize data privacy and aim to support our clients’ compliance with data protection regulations. The CathexisVision Archive Viewer now offers an option to redact faces when exporting footage from an archive to MP4 format, ensuring privacy is maintained.
Heatmaps
Heatmaps can be applied as overlays to selected cameras, providing a quick overview of motion within a camera view. The heatmap feature displays a color-map overlay on the video, indicating the amount of motion detected. By using data from the motion database, CathexisVision highlights areas of motion, with red representing more motion and green representing less. Additionally, the heatmap results can be refined using specific parameters, enhancing the precision of the motion analysis.
Reference image management
This feature ensures cameras consistently display the desired view by flagging deliberate or inadvertent tampering or position shifts. Any camera movement or view change against a reference image is indicated with the percentage change of the current view versus the reference image.
Our sophisticated adaptive pattern matching algorithm guarantees accurate comparisons, even under variable environmental conditions. If a camera’s reference image is set during the day, the algorithm adapts for accurate comparison against nighttime images. Additionally, reference images can be exported for later retrieval.
Physical distancing algorithm
CathexisVision has a people proximity algorithm to its analytics options. Utilizing the latest functionality, CathexisVision tracks activity through people proximity analytics, automatically identifying instances where individuals are closer than the configured distance
